Ayatollah Mohammad Al-Eshegh, Founder of BooAli Traditional Medicine Health Center and BooAli Daroo Company
One of the key figures in the revival of traditional medicine in Iran in the present time is the wise physician Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Mohammad Al-Eshagh.
Since his youth, he got acquainted with traditional medicine and the use of natural remedies. Through research on Avicenna’s “The Canon” and gaining therapeutic experiences, he successfully treated some difficult-to-cure diseases and began teaching “The Canon” to students of religious fields.
In 2000, he founded the BooAli Sina Herbal Research Company in Qom. The company started its activities in the BooAli Traditional Medicine Health Center (commonly known as Al-Eshagh Health Center), and later, in 2016, the BooAli Daroo factory was inaugurated.
BooAli Daroo Pharmaceutical Factory (Sahami Khas), registered under number 2499, is located in the first phase of the Shokouhieh Industrial town in Qom Province. BooAli Daroo Pharmaceutical Company relies on the vast treasure of traditional medicine and aims to revive and expand this field by promoting the use of natural and traditional medicines. With a variety of production lines for tablets, capsules, syrups, creams, ointments, oils, and herbal packaging, the company continually works on developing new formulations and strives to produce high-quality products, and take basic steps in meeting the country’s pharmaceutical needs and treating diseases. One of the company’s honors is that the entire process of construction, equipment installation, and factory setup was carried out using local specialists.
